EXP1 Week 2. Stairs Sections

These are the stairs drafts:

Firstly i draw many different designs of stairs.

after a few drawings, i decided to focus on making 2 stairs, one going to underground, and one is going upstairs.

Since my clients are Rolex for the above ground level and Hazan Motor for the underground, i design it so that it fits their characteristics.

So these are the section drawing of these stairs.

The upper drawing is the stairs which goes to underground, while the bottom drawing is for the section which goes upstairs

For Hazan, I design stairs that has a sense of minimalism and modernism yet strong and rigid because Hazan has a characteristic of making motorbikes that way. That's why I create a stair that is cantilevered on one side and handrail that is smooth and curvy as if it is a Hazan's motorbike seat.
As for Rolex, I design a stair that combines a sense of heaviness and weight and yet light at the same time. That's why I combined the heavy staircase with light handrail.

For both stairs, I use the color red to show their ambitions in different ways, on with red carpet that show class and brand, while the standard red to show modernism in ambitions.
